Every summer when we start the sailing season, we get the nearly uncontrollable urge to keep sailing off into the sunset. What with children, jobs and other obligations, we had to wait until something gave. Dan left his job in 2008 and decided that he'd had enough of 9-5. I managed to get a leave of absence from my job and after 1½ years of planning, we finally took off on May 10th 2010
